Raipur, 8 Aug, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today greeted the citizens on the solemn occasion 75th anniversary of ‘Quit India Movement and August Kranti’ launched by Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi against the Britishers to be observed on 9 August. Dr. Raman Singh in a message mentioned that 9 August 1942 had been written in the annals of history which made Britishers quit India. Lakhs of patriotic Indians sacrificed their comforts and lives to liberate the nation for foreign yoke. If we are breathing air of freedom the credit goes to our valiant freedom fighters. Dr. Raman Singh called upon the citizens to dedicate themselves for building of prosperous State.
